2–3 Days Before Your Appointment

  • Moisturize and gently exfoliate the area you’ll be tattooing.

  • Avoid anything that irritates or damages the skin, including harsh treatments/chemicals, heavy sun exposure, pet scratches, bruising, or cuts.

The Day Before

  • Get a good night’s sleep.

  • Avoid alcohol and blood-thinning medications (only stop medications if approved by your doctor).

The Morning Of

  • Skip excessive caffeine and sugar if you can—they can make it harder to sit comfortably.

  • Eat a full, nutritious meal and drink plenty of water. Please don’t arrive without eating—this sets your body up for a much smoother session.

What to Wear

Wear something comfortable that allows easy access to the tattoo area. Dark clothing is recommended (ink can stain, and it photographs well), but it isn’t required.

For more challenging placements:

  • Chest/neck: strapless top or tube top

  • Back: bring a button-up shirt or zip-up jacket to wear backwards

  • Hip/side waist: tie-side bikini bottoms (can be untied and taped down as needed)

  • Sternum/between breasts: tie bikini top (can be untied and taped down as needed)

For more vulnerable placements, I can set up an optional partition for added privacy.

What to Bring

  • A valid photo ID

  • Cash for your session

    • If you need to pay electronically, I can accommodate with a 3.5% processing fee added to the total

  • Snacks and drinks, headphones, and anything that helps you stay comfortable (pillow, sweater/blanket, etc.), especially for longer sessions

Guests

You are always allowed to bring 1-2 guests with you as long as they are 18 or older, or 14 or older if accompanied by their guardian.

Children or other guests are welcome to stop by, but I ask that you not have them in for the full duration of the appointment. For any further questions about guests just ask.

Absolutely no pets allowed in the studio.
Service animals are the only exception and are welcome to come in with you if needed, but they cannot be in the tattoo station for sanitary reasons.
